Many Languages of Love :)
April 29, 2023
In the beautifully curated and produced Who Am I? video shown this morning, we were inspired by tidbits from many different corners of the world!
That reminded me to underscore an invisible part of our platform -- that it allows people to engage across languages!
In your settings, if you list your language as Japanese (as podmates have), you would see your profile page as something like this:

If you were Sabine, you would post your daily reflections in German but it would auto-translated for Joe (and lot of us) in English, who can then add a comment (which he did) and Sabine would be able to read it in German.

And if you're a native Hindi or Vietnamese speakers who don't fully understand English (of which we have many), you would see your curriculum translated like this:

With applicants from 67 countries, we might imagine many languages, but it's quite cool to actually see people engaging the Pod in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Czech, Gujarati, Danish and more! While the translations aren't going to be perfect, they're quite good (some languages are particularly amazing) -- and certainly enough to build heart-to-heart bridges across seeming boundaries.
With gratitude for all your behind-the-scenes work that is likely reaching people and spaces none of us might even be able to imagine!
