Learning To Die, With Brother David

October 17, 2016

It was an honor to be in dialogue with Brother David at his 90th b'day celebration back in July.  A woman from Romania just wrote a gratitude note for the question I had asked that day, "What the difference between good and bad intuition?"  For me, though, the big moment of the event came when Michael Lerner went up on stage and asked, "This isn't just about Brother David. It's about you, in relationship to the collective field that is present here.  Allow it to work on you."  I don't know if it was true for others, but it was for me.  In that the field, just about half an hour ago, a strong thought had arisen within me -- "It is time to shift from 30 days of retreat every year to 3 months."  I'm curious to see how that emerges.

As per the question on good and bad intuition, I think it just requires wisdom.  Here's some wisdom from Brother David, from his early days: Learning to Die
