It is always good to take the always out. I had them once, the usual shall's and shall not's. But I'd get variously obese with life, and they couldn't hold me in. Nor could I do honor to them, they were so easily disappointed. I believed of course that one should always keep a promise. But I learned?so I could still feel decent, I suppose?to take the always out. It is always good to take the always out.

Sometimes I find myself wearing a gaudy kind of goodness. The kind that brings itself to show and tell. Wanting attention. Preferably rapt.




In the end it is

all answers lie on a bed of questions.
you can tuck yourself in snug as a bug in a rug but the pillow your head rests on is wonder-full and does not know

I thought I might have something to sing but as it turns out the birds of morning sang most of it and the birds of evening sang the rest and in the afternoon their was silence because everyone had nodded asleep.




You can't put a price on the sunset
Or gift-wrap a song.

Something is not quite right.
I am growing older and more foolish...
Or maybe just more aware of my foolishness...
And maybe that is how wisdom comes for some?
